Three new members were elected in the latest member assembly at the Botanikertagung in Freising on 2 September 2015. The new treasurer, Professor Dr. Raimund Tenhaken from Salzburg University, and the two new mebers of the extended board, Professor Dr. Karin Krupinska (Uni Kiel) and Professor Dr. Iris Finkemeier (Uni Münster, WWU), were elected unanimously. PD. Dr. Klaus-Jürgen Appenroth, Prof. Dr. Birgit Piechulla and Prof. Dr. Ralf R. Mendel didn't run for another term. The president, Professor Karl-Josef Dietz, the general secretary, Professor Volker Wissemann, and secretary, Dr. Thomas Janßen; were elected unanimously too. Their biannual terms will start on 1 January next year.
