Our members are welcome to found Sections in specialized fields <a href="http://www.deutsche-botanische-gesellschaft.de/en/about-us/statutes" target="_blank">(see §6, statutes)</a>. In addition to the biannually Congress "Botaniktagung" the Sections organize scientific symposia in their specific field of work. Memberhip in any of the Sections is optional. Some of the Sections charge a fee. Please check out more about the Sections <a href="http://www.deutsche-botanische-gesellschaft.de/en/sections" target="_blank">here</a> for more information.
