About the Foundation
The Wilhelm Pfeffer Foundation is an independent organisation of the German Botanical Society (DBG). It promotes young scientists working in botanic disciplines in an ideal and material manner.
Every other year the Foundation awards the Wilhelm Pfeffer-Prize to young scientists. It also awards the prize for the best paper every year.
The Foundation is named after the famous plant physiologist Wilhelm Pfeffer and acts through its board.
