Sections
Members of the DBG are welcome to found Sections in specialized fields. In addition to the Congress "Botanikertagung" the Sections organize scientific symposia in their specific field of work. The following Sections have been appointed by the Board of Trustees:
Membership in the Sections
Affiliation with a Section is not obligatory for members of the German Botanical Society (DBG). In addition to the membership fee for the DBG, some Sections charge an additional annual membership fee. However, for new members, a separate Section membership for up to 3 years is possible, before joining the DBG.
