Section Natural Products and Secondary Compounds - German Botanical Society (DBG: Deutsche Botanische Gesellschaft e. V.)

The Section advances research and teaching in all fields related to plant secondary compounds and natural products, their biological origins and functions. Section members assist each other in all matters related to research. The Section organises special meetings for PhD students taking place biennially between the Botanikertagungen.

Advantages of Membership

Section members help and advice each other to answer scientific questions. Undergraduates and PhD students are offered a friendly atmosphere during Section meetings where they are welcome to introduce and discuss their work in detail.

Member Fee

Members of the DBG only pay a fee of 10 Euro each year (see German statutes [1]).
